What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
“Mercedes and Trey have some absolutely amazing family members! Mercedes father passed away several years ago but in many ways it felt like he was there with them. Everyone had a hilarious story to share about him. It was a celebration of Mercedes and Trey joining their families and it was also a celebration of the wonderful humans who brought each of them into this world. So much joy was woven into each part of their day. And they said they were adopting Rachel and I and we are so down with that idea!”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“Mercedes and Trey treated everyone to a seafood extravaganza (including her very grateful photographers)! They brought in platter after platter of Royal Red shrimp and Alaskan king crab legs with ALL the trimmings. Everyone sat together in their beautiful condo’s living and dining room and laughed and ate their fill.”
What was the couple’s session like?
“The Emerald Coast can be such a trickster when it comes to weather and their wedding day was a perfect example of this. It rained ALL day, EXCEPT for a few amazing moments when we got to shoot their couple’s portraits on the beach. Mercedes had been dreaming of wedding portraits on the beach WITH overcast skies (because she’s artsy like that) the sky delivered. We had so much fun creating memories and gorgeous images. Needless to say, but I’ll say it anyway, Mercedes, Trey, and their wonderful family stole my heart and I am so happy that they chose us to be there.”
