What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“I was SUPER excited when Bette’s mom told me they had hired Myrtie Blue to do their florals and decor!! I have long been a fan of their work and I knew that whatever they dreamed up was going to stunning, but I was blown away when I walked into the most elegant winter wonderland at the WaterColor Lakehouse. The room glowed with the light of hundreds of candles, graceful birch trees stretched overhead, and (my personal favorite) the most sumptuous velvet linens adorned the tables.”
Where there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
“I loved the Jewish traditions they incorporated into both the ceremony and reception! From the breaking of the glass and joyful “mazel tov!” at the end of their ceremony, to the hora that kicked off their party, it was so enjoyable to experience something just a little bit different!”
What made the wedding venue special?
“We LOVE WaterColor weddings here at AKP and I was thrilled to close out my 2018 wedding season there! It is obviously gorgeous, but my favorite thing about WaterColor weddings are how incredibly accommodating and just downright lovely their staff is. They go out of their way to make every event perfect and are an absolute joy to work with!”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“Two words – Az Izz. This Atlanta based band is AMAZING (truly one of the best I’ve ever seen at a wedding!) and they kept the dance floor PACKED all night long!!”
