What made the wedding venue special?
“Destin, Florida is an extremely special place for Kristin and her family. It’s a place that their father and mother would take them for vacation every year and enjoy the sandy white beaches and make memories that would last a lifetime. Kristin’s father unfortunately is no longer with us, but the family was sure to make his presence felt. They choose the Palazzo Del Mar for the venue, a jaw dropping, four-story house that would allow all of their close family and friends to come celebrate their wedding on Friday and enjoy each other’s company in the days after. It was such a beautiful place – I kept telling Kristin and Byron throughout the day that they did things right. Having everyone close to them and being able to celebrate their marriage together in that way is something I don’t think they will ever forget. Even with 150 people there, it still felt like an intimate setting.”
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
“There was a lot of happiness and joy that day. During Kristin’s gowning, the tears shed between Kristin and her sister Katie, and it just tore up my heart. During her bridal portraits Kristin’s eyes glistened with tears because of how happy she was. Byron seeing his bride come down showed an overflow of emotions. The toasts that were given later that night spoke of the love that flows between the two of them and how perfect they are for each other – and how proud Kristin’s dad would be of the choice she made. I mean, I can’t count how many times this family made me cry; it was a joyous occasion.”
What was unique about the bridal party’s attire?
“Tropical flowers, beautiful locks and curls, pastel colors, suspenders… all good things.”
What was the couple’s session like?
“It was golden. It was cuddly. It was romantic. It was perfection.”
Was the exit exciting and unique?
“I loved their exit which incorporated fabulous glow sticks and a party bus waiting to take everyone out for the night!! The party just kept going!! That’s my kind of party!”
