What made the reception enjoyable?
“When we had our final meeting, Christine told me that fun party pictures were super important to her and at the reception it was clear why. Christine and Joshua, and their guests are from New Orleans and came ready to CELEBRATE!! They hired a fantastic band and their dance floor (black and white checkerboard no less!) was PACKED all night long, which made it so much fun to photograph!”
What made the wedding venue special?
“Weddings at Portofino Island Resort are so elegant without feeling too formal or stuffy. The resort itself is gorgeous (I especially love the pool area at night!), but my favorite part about weddings there is the the amazing staff and the way they go out of their way to make every event perfect for every couple. They are always such a joy to work with and I know that my job will be infinitely easier because of the attention they pay to the details!”
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“They had beautiful invitations and incredible, lush florals, and Christine’s shoes were to die for, but my favorite detail was one we couldn’t have created if we tried. After their ceremony we walked across the street and were graced with the most amazing golden hour light for their couples portraits on the beach. Their portraits are perfection!!”
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
“I adore a classic, timeless, elegant bridal and I LOVED Christine’s style. With her red lips and nails, mermaid silhouette gown, and amazing art deco inspired earrings she was seriously channeling a 40’s starlet.”
