What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“Meagan’s parents gifted her a bracelet made from pearls from the necklace her dad gave her mom on their wedding day. When I was photographing her bridal details I noticed a delicate gold charm on bracelet engraved with her first initial and wedding date. I also wore my mother’s pearls on my wedding day, so this one really spoke to my heart!”
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
“It was a gorgeous day!! It seems we’ve had an unseasonably warm, extended summer this year and their wedding day at times, felt like the first hints of fall showing itself. The light starts to get really beautiful this time of year as the sun changes position in the sky and it was perfect at all the right times!!”
What was the couple’s session like?
“It was such an easy day and we managed to stay perfectly on schedule, so by the time we got to couples portraits after their ceremony the light was exactly what I would have hoped for. Meagan chose such a timeless look and I love how classically elegant their portraits turned out!”
Was the exit exciting and unique?
“Ecofetti!! I have seen just about every kind of grand exit imaginable in the last 10 years as a wedding photographer, but confetti will forever be my favorite! There is something so festive and celebratory about it, and I thought the white ecofetti kept the classic aesthetic of the day going until the very end. Plus the fact that you can just wash the ecofetti away afterward makes it even better!”
Was there unique transportation?
“They were whisked away at the end of the night in the most gorgeous 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air!! More classic car getaways please!!”
