Fall wedding season along the Gulf Coast is about to kick off, and I am so excited for all of my upcoming autumn weddings. I was especially excited however, to get the season started a few weekends early in Orange Beach with Whitney and Michael’s late summer wedding at the new Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach. It is an absolutely stunning venue overlooking Wolf Bay and the perfect spot for a coastal Alabama wedding without all the sand, and I loved the way Whitney incorporated subtle coastal elements in her reception decor. The driftwood cake stand and oyster shell cake topper hand painted with their names and wedding date were so unique, and something I hadn’t seen before!
Theirs was the first wedding I have had the opportunity to photograph at the Coastal Arts Center and I couldn’t have been more impressed by the venue, and lovely people who run it – I so look forward to the next wedding I have the chance to photograph there!
