Destin, Florida never disappoints with their beautiful beaches where thousands of people come to see each year during the summer (and even winter!) months. Heather and Derek chose the perfect little hideaway at the Holiday Surf and Racquet Club, where all their family came to watch them vow to spend the rest of their life together. It is a place where they have been coming for years and they felt that it was the little oasis to stand hand in hand together.
Heather looked absolutely stunning in her backless lace dress, accented by a gorgeous golden leaf crown and starfish jeweled barefoot sandals. I just kept telling her I could take her pictures all day and I truly hoped she felt beautiful. That’s one thing I always hope for at every wedding I photograph – that the bride feels her absolute best. I think Heather did!

After sharing in their vows, the two of them ended their ceremony together dancing their first dance, toes in the sand and salt in the air. The two of them were a beautiful sight, swaying and smiling in the evening light; I truly didn’t think it could get any better than that… but it did. Their two babies joined in and boy did emotions fly. Another good day and wedding for the books. Thank you both for allowing me to share in your day, it was just lovely.
