Jazmin and Lucio’s ceremony at Our Lady of Assumption and the Hilton Pensacola Beach wedding reception was absolutely beautiful and one of the most elegant ballroom events I have had the opportunity to photograph in quite a while. I loved the way the incredibly talented people at Wedding Walls, SoHo, and Fiore transformed the Royal Palm ballroom with graceful white draping, lush floral centerpieces, and the jaw dropping crystal chandelier dripping with orchids over the dancefloor. My favorite reception detail though, was the incredible sweetheart table set under a draped arbor, complete with its own crystal chandelier, sparkly white linens, and more stunning white florals. More than I loved how elegant their day was, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to experience a wedding with cultural traditions other than my own. Everyone was so warm and welcoming, and while I was unfamiliar with many of the traditions they incorporated, each one was more fun than the last and I’m pretty sure I didn’t stop smiling until my head hit the pillow that night. For the record, I would be over the moon if EVERY wedding from now on had a mariachi band play during the ceremony.
