The main thing people normally look for in weddings is emotion – tons and tons of emotions.
Everyone wants to see the bride in the dress for the first time, the groom’s face as the bride walks down the aisle, and that sweet father-daughter dance that happens soon after his daughter is given away. Now me personally, I would say that a groom doesn’t necessarily have to cry to make the moment that he sees his soon to be bride beautiful and heavy… it’s always just as special. I arrived at Tristan and Caiden’s wedding not expecting to find all the emotions that I did and it was beautiful. When Tristan’s dad turned around and saw his daughter in her wedding dress it brought tears to my eyes, and honestly it was hard to keep myself together… and the tears didn’t end there.
The Destin wedding ceremony took place at Henderson Beach State Park and one thing that was on everyone’s mind was the weather. It had been raining heavily all day and the concern for rain during the ceremony was an issue. Weather has a way of playing with us because when it came time for the ceremony, the sky opened up with most gorgeous sunny overcast, cool winds, and emerald green waters that made everything perfect. What was even more perfect was the moment after everyone walked down the aisle and Caiden turned his back, head facing towards the gulf while Tristan slowly made her way closer to him. As soon as Tristan was near the last aisle, Caiden’s best man gently tapped his back and as Caiden turned around the tears just fell and everything after couldn’t have been more enchanting.
The rest of the evening took place at a gorgeous beach house where they enjoyed their rooftop reception under the stars with family and friends who all loved them dearly.
Thank you both for the amazing experience and as always I wish you both an eternity of love, laughter, and true happiness.
Much love,
Rachel
