One of my favorite things about weddings is that no two are ever exactly the same.  Regardless of how many times I have been to a venue, every wedding is different than the one before.

The incredible Portofino Island Resort is one of those places we visit frequently and is an AKP studio favorite for sure, so I was super excited to spend the day there for Melissa and Tom’s wedding.  We were blessed with perfect beach weather, stunning floral details (air plants, succulents, and driftwood!!), and gorgeous pastel sunset sky.  But my favorite part of the day (and there were so many great moments!) was the incredible fireworks show they treated their guests to at the end of the night.  It was truly one of the most spectacular (and unique!) endings to a wedding I have seen or photographed, and I was thrilled to have been the person to document it for them.
