I don’t think it could have been a more perfect day for Rhonda and Ed, two people who have been in love and happily tied together for twenty-five years. They renewed their vows on the land on which their children were raised, and where their love continued to blossom. Their wedding day let me see so much into their life and how important family and love is to them.
I arrived at their stunning home and the first thing that caught my eye was the rustic arch that held so many memories of the two of them, their children, their family and friends. The two of them would stand under that arch of memories and take each other, again, for the second time, but have all those people with them to witness their bond. Which takes me to another part of their big day that took my breath away… the ceremony.
To be honest, normally the ceremony to some can feel formulaic. Many of our clients want it done quick an easy, and are ready to kiss the bride and go party (I totally get it) – but Rhonda and Ed’s ceremony was different. Rhonda wrote the sweetest letter to her husband, of how accepting he was, what an amazing father he is, and how she felt like it was a sin to love him as much as she did. It truly was touching. The ceremony ended with Ed getting down on one knee asking her to marry him, again. There were so many tears shed as they embraced, kissed, and walked down the aisle.
The whole day was a beautiful testament to love and what hard work gets you. Thank you for letting me be there to see.
Much love Rhonda and Ed… happy twenty-five years and an eternity more.
