Elizabeth and Chris’s wedding was a dream. So many of the details and choices were personal favorites of mine, which from a superficial level, made me so excited to photograph it. Elizabeth selected a gorgeous Jenny Packham wedding gown (her beaded dresses are my absolute favorite!) – and she completed her wedding look with red lipstick and a cathedral veil, which was absolutely perfect. This Louisiana couple chose Fairhope, Alabama as their wedding location – which is an incredibly quaint and artsy town nestled under giant live oaks and Spanish moss, with a view of the bay leading out into the Gulf of Mexico (so pretty much, paradise). They dressed at The Grand Hotel and chose to have their first look by the lagoon, with sunlight sparkling through leaves behind them. Once the sun set, Elizabeth and Chris married one another in a candlelit ceremony at St. Francis at the Point, a beautiful white chapel with water views and walls of windows. Once married, everyone traveled just down the road to downtown Fairhope, where they danced the night away under a tent draped with market lights and a fire crackling in the outdoor fireplace.
Thank you, Elizabeth and Chris, for inviting me to a part of your lovely wedding!
