I love photographing weddings in Watercolor, Florida. Seriously, it’s one of the prettiest places for weddings along the Emerald Coast. It has gorgeous white sand beaches and turquoise water, and beautifully-landscaped green spaces, perfect for garden ceremonies. The homes are all unique and cottage-style, with tons of window-light and a coastal feel, perfect for destination weddings that are both relaxed and elegant. Just like Watercolor is one of my favorite spots, Allison and AJ are one of my favorite couples to photograph. They spent all day cracking jokes (most of which were slightly off-color, which is obviously the very best kind of joke), laughing, crying (just a little, and always at the sweetest moments), and dancing up a storm. They draped the LakeHouse in gorgeous white lights, and used white orchids and purple orchids to decorate the prettiest tablescapes. Suspended from the rustic wooden ceiling beams, they installed stunning floral chandeliers, so guests dined under luxurious orchids. The band was amazing, and this Watercolor wedding was truly one of my favorite evenings.
