The truth is, EVERY wedding feels really special to me. One of the best part of being a wedding photographer is getting to be a part of moments that are intensely emotional and otherwise private – and I really do cry at least one during every wedding (toasts, vows, and parent dances do me in EVERY SINGLE TIME). However . . . THIS WEDDING is extra-super-special. You might recognize Becky as my incredible second shooter, office manager, and general gal Friday. She has been with Aislinn Kate Photography for two years, and has made an impact that cannot be overstated. Everyone who meets her loves her (really!), and she does every task with a huge grin and a positive attitude that lifts up everyone around her. So obviously, her wedding to Matt was the same – joyful, funny, meaningful, and just stunningly gorgeous.

Becky and Matt’s Lee House wedding was perfect – they said their vows as sunset approached, all the flowers behind them were blooming, and I think everyone’s eyes were wet with tears. After a classy and casual cocktail house at the Lee House, all of their guests strolled (or trolleyed) over a few blocks to 5eleven Palafox, where they feasted and danced the night away. This 5eleven wedding was all class and simplicity, luxury and meaningful detail. Pensacola wedding planner Paul Silivos (with P.S. Weddings) did a beautiful job coordinating all of the different elements, and Chloe Sexton (with Supposey) provided the most stunning florals.

Most special to me personally was the fact that Becky asked (very timidly) if she and her bridesmaids could get ready at the Aislinn Kate Photography studio (only two blocks away from the Lee House). So for the first (and probably only) time, I got to be not only the photographer, but also a venue!
