Jessica and Ben’s Pensacola Beach wedding was everything I love about beach weddings. It was intimate but festive, laidback but also dignified, and full of family and friends who were genuinely happy to be there and see these two tie the knot. The beach ceremony took place behind Hemingway’s Island Grill, under a beautiful bamboo arbor draped with white fabric held back by clusters of blush and ivory flowers. The weather was perfect – not too hot or too cold – and there was just enough of a breeze to make the champagne ribbon of Jessica’s sash billow beautifully. As we always get with Pensacola Beach weddings, we had a gorgeous sunset, full of soft winter light reflecting off of the white sand beaches. Jessica chose beach décor for her reception, which perfectly complemented this Hemingway’s wedding – copper lanterns adorned with starfish and glimmering candles, netting, and the coolest “guest book” made of full size oars emblazoned with the couple’s wedding date.
