Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
“Helene loves the beach and chose a gorgeous palette of navy, aqua, white, and sand to compliment the beautiful colors that occur naturally at the beach!” Supposey did a stunning job (as usual!) with incorporating varying shades of blue into the bouquets and centerpieces. I especially loved the tiny starfish that were tucked into Helene’s bouquet!”
Why was the stationery suite so exceptional?
“I loved the elegant simplicity of the design and the way the starfish theme was carried throughout each piece! I typically look for a few found objects to style an invitation suite when I photograph it, but in this case a few well placed white starfish were all that it needed!”
Where there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
“Helene and Mark are such an easy-going, fun loving couple and everything about their wedding really reflected those parts of their personalities! Helene gifted Mark with what is probably the MOST FUN wedding gift I have ever seen – it was a pinball machine!!!! Short of a trip to Disney World, I’m not sure it gets more fun than that!”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“In place of a DJ or band they found an amazing company that specializes in dueling pianos for weddings and events!! I have been photographing weddings for over 10 years and this was the first time I had seen or even HEARD of such a thing! Felix and Fingers was absolutely fantastic, and I sincerely hope this is a wedding trend that catches on because they were SO MUCH FUN!!”
