Were there any unique traditions that made the ceremony memorable?
“Tera and John choose to say their vows at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida where family and friends gathered from over 19 different states! How incredible!!! It definitely showed how much these two are loved!! During the ceremony, the Priest asked if any wanted to take communion – ALL of the guests partook and looking at Tera and John’s face, they were just full of emotions to the point Tera just started crying. They both just watched and held hands and you could just tell it was a special moment.”
Were there any special details with symbolic importance?
“Tera wore her grandparents rings on her right hand. I always think that is special, having a small item with you on the biggest day of your life – so dog gone sweet.”
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
“The weather listened to my silent pleas… it was perfect!!! Although the forecast kept showing rain, it didn’t at all (maybe a few drops haha)! The day ended up doing exactly as we needed at the perfect times.”
Was there unique transportation?
“Can you say party bus? Yes, they traveled in style on a bus and it was a PARTY!!!”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“The WHOLE reception was amazing!! They decided to have the party at The Soundside Club in Hurlburt Field, which has gorgeous views overlooking the Santa Rosa sound and amazing food!!! From the grand entrance, to the father daughter dance where they busted out a choreographed dance, to the toast that made everyone cry, to the garter toss where Tera decided to “ice” her husband and he successfully completed the task, to all the dancing that followed; the reception was the bomb point blank period!”
