What made the wedding venue special?
“Pensacola Country Club is such a beautiful location. Everything can be done there, so no traveling is really needed. The bridal suite is large and spacious with beautiful tall windows along with a breathtaking view – it’s all so beautiful.”
How did the parent’s react upon seeing their son/daughter?
“Angelika and Marlon’s wedding day had me in tears so many times. Their families are so beautiful in their kindness and words and I will always treasure it. When Angelika’s dad came into the venue before she was all dressed for the big day, the two of them hugged each other so tightly and whatever Mr. Willy was saying to her made the two of them start to get emotional. I stood there and my heart was just wrenching. Then they walked over in the corner and began practicing their first dance… ya’ll… I could barely see I was crying so much. Can you imagine what the ACTUAL first look was like with her dad? It was 100 times more emotional, but a moment I will never forget.”
Was there an exceptional vendor?
“Julie with Pensacola Country Club was amazing! She was on top of things, always present and was available for whatever the bride needed as well as vendors! I loved working with her!”
Where there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
“During the ceremony when Angelika walked down the aisle, her close friends sang a beautiful melody which started all the emotions. Marlon was just taken by Angelika and the love that was beaming was everything. During their ceremony, at one point the Pastor turned it over to Marlon and he faced his wife to be and sang her the most beautiful song acapella. ACAPELLA! Everyone was in tears. I looked at all the parents and they were all crying along with everyone in the audience. Soon after that, Angelika and Marlon began the sand ceremony while Marlon’s sister began singing. Once the sand ceremony had ended instead of just walking back to the altar the two of them hugged both their parents and all of the grandparents in the family. When I tell you it was the most emotional ceremony I have ever been to, I mean it.”
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
“Beautiful reds, with greenery, and whites. All so classy and put together so nicely.”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“Gosh I loved their reception, to the amazing food, to all the fun dancing that followed. One of my favorite parts was learning about the couple and their families during the toasts. Many had traveled as far as Panama to be there but it was because of the type of people Angelika and Marlon are; the values they shared. Their love story was so beautiful and I couldn’t have been honored to have been there that day.”
