What made the wedding venue special?
“The Pensacola Country Club is, hands down, one of my absolute favorite Pensacola wedding venues! The view of Pensacola Bay is breathtaking, and the clubhouse and grounds alone make it a gorgeous choice for a wedding, but the service is what sends it over the top! Their events manager, Julie, is absolutely fantastic at what she does and takes such incredible care of couples (and their vendors!) on every wedding day!!”
Were there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
“Yes!! Well, sort of. When I spoke with Meghan for the first time, she told me she planned to include her bull mastiff, Bubba, on their wedding day! Sometimes clients will plan to include their pets in their weddings, but the logistics of it proves too difficult, and they end up changing their minds. So I was over the moon excited when they were able to make it work, and Bubba arrived for portraits, complete with his own bow tie for the occasion!!”
What was the couple’s session like?
“So much fun and absolutely stunning!! Meghan planned her ceremony and portrait time perfectly to take advantage of the gorgeous, golden sunset light, but my favorite thing about their couples portraits was the fact that they just didn’t take themselves too seriously! I will always be a sucker for honest emotions in photographs and that is exactly what we got – Meghan and and Ryan laughed a LOT and I adore the resulting images!!”
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
“We found the perfect pocket of light and set them up for a beautiful photo opportunity, but what came next couldn’t have been scripted if we tried. When Ryan turned around to see his bride for the first time we saw his face go from stunned (because she looked STUNNING!!) to overwhelmed with happy tears, to nearly falling down laughing. Theirs will forever be one of my favorite first looks!!”
