What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
“Caitlin and Ryan love to travel, and I adored the subtle nods to their adventures throughout the day. They purchased the most beautiful, handmade paper invitations while in Nepal; Ryan’s wedding band was engraved with a stunning Celtic pattern from Ireland; and the groom’s cake was adorned with gold paint that gently echoed a map, while golden airplanes floated around the bottom layer.”
Where there any unique traditions or events that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
“YES! The bride has a 14 year old brother named Connor, and he had an amazing surprise in store. During the couple’s first dance (while the band played an incredible rendition of “La Vie en Rose”), Connor stepped out from behind the curtain and played the trumpet solo throughout the song! He did a truly excellent job, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house witnessing the special moment.”
Was the exit exciting and unique?
“Sparklers are always a fun and popular way to exit the reception, and Cait and Ryan’s guests were all in! They had a blast waving the wedding sparklers as the bride and groom ran out to their getaway car, and the moment was made even more fabulous by Cait’s yellow feather boa!”
What made the reception enjoyable?
“The band, and the people! The band, Accent, was incredible and kept the dance floor full the entire night. Just as fantastic were Cait and Ryan’s friends and family – they arrived to celebrate and weren’t shy about kicking up their heels on the dance floor until the very last song.”
