What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
My favorite detail from Annie and Mac’s wedding was the gorgeous flower wreath collar that Celebrations made for their puppy, Piper. And you could tell Piper knew how special she was at this wedding! She walked down the aisle with her adorable furry head held high!
Where there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
Mac’s brother is an priest in the Episcopalian church. So having him perform the ceremony in his beautiful traditional robes was so special! Not only did he uplift them with words from their shared faith, he also spoke from the heart and shared very wise and wonderful advice about marriage.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
The day started out with rain, rain, and more rain. But we all just knew the sun was going to show it’s face! And it did. The sun came out about an hour before the ceremony and never left until it dropped below the horizon leaving behind a breathtaking sunset.
What made the wedding venue special?
The ceremony at the Grand Hotel in Fairhope was perfect! Butterflies outnumbered the guests tenfold and were absolutely everywhere that day! It was so special to see so many monarchs flying all over and creating the feeling that even those who were not able to be present were still there in Spirit. The reception at Annie’s aunt and uncle’s house in Gulf Breeze was at home wedding perfection. Guests were greeted by ushers offering drinks and small bites worth swooning over. It was an amazing blend of the comforts of home with jaw dropping party details.
What made the band or DJ exceptional?
The band Annie and Mac hired, Second Coming, brought the house down!!! I mean the dance floor was jam packed the entire reception! And talk about sweet people! Each of the musicians was so kind and made sure everyone was having an absolute blast!
