What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Ryan’s face absolutely lit up when he saw Amy coming down the aisle toward him. These two have seen each other through so much and that love and trust was almost tangible as they locked eyes. It was a truly beautiful moment to witness.
Were there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
Amy and Ryan had three of the sweetest little girls as their flower girls and they did their job perfectly! They were absolute pros and they looked so beautiful walking down the aisle to mark Amy’s entrance!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Amy is a huge fan of sweets and as a yummy surprise for her guests she had mini ice cream cones passed after the cake cutting. Talk about a crown pleaser! And even with the very chilly weather, ice cream was a hit!
Was there an exceptional vendor?
Forget Me Knot florals made some of the most beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. I loved how they chose deep reads and perfectly blended them with blush and pinks. It was the perfect way to go beyond the usual darker fall color scheme and bring in a feminine touch. Everyone was truly thrilled with the flowers and I had so much fun photographing them.
What was unique about the bridal party’s attire?
Fall weddings on the beach make for some really playful fashion choices! Amy choose gorgeous blush dresses for her bridesmaids and the cold weather meant that cute fur coats were also in play! Fur shawls and wraps on white sandy beaches?? Yes please!
