What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Lauren’s ring was my favorite detail. Her mom told me the history of how it was a family heirloom, and about how Lauren decided that she wanted it to be her wedding ring instead of getting a new one. When Lauren’s parents knew that Mac was the one, they gave him the ring to give to her when he proposed. Mac had it taken to the jewelers to clean it and fix some of the etching, but other than that, it was the same ring that had been passed down for generations. It was one of the sweetest details of the day!!
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Absolute joy! Everyone was in great spirits throughout the day, even when it was hot and they thought it might rain. The families truly loved each other and wanted to be there to support the couple in their new venture of marriage. The couple was the perfect example of true and selfless love, and I loved getting to capture them on their favorite day!!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Lauren and Mac decided to do a first touch instead of a first look, and it was one of the best moments of the day. They read letters to each other, cried happy tears with one another, and prayed over their future marriage and the wedding day itself. By the end of this special time, everyone was teary-eyed and looking forward to what the rest of the day would bring.
