Hi! I’m Brooke, the Lead Wedding Planner here at Aislinn Kate Weddings. Ashley and Jack were married in the fall of 2022, and I was thrilled to work with them as their wedding planner!
One of the first things that Ashley told me when we started the planning process was that she just wanted LOTS of color. Being someone who absolutely loves a colorful, joyful wedding design, I was immediately excited by the prospect! We were looking for someone to turn the Pensacola Country Club into a perfect, spring meadow… but in November! I knew that Chrissy with Chrissy Florals would love the challenge
Ashley wanted a very flowy and dreamy aesthetic, so we opted for stunning, gauze runners from Events Style By Luxe, and dotted them with gorgeous gold candlesticks and the most perfect champagne taper candles. One of the other elements Ashley was most excited about was making the fireplace in the lobby of the Country Club a real showpiece. Chrissy brought lots of gorgeous greenery and beautiful candles in various shapes and sizes to create a very romantic look – the perfect backdrop for the stunning cake, made by the fabulous Betty Weber. Betty also took on the challenge of recreating Jack’s favorite catch in the form of a wildly-lifelike fish cake!
Ashley also wanted Jack and his friends to have something special on wedding day, so we set up a cigar bar for them and our photographer Chelsi got the coolest GQ-inspired photos of them!
I also have to thank Jennifer and the team at the Pensacola Country Club for helping us bring Ashley’s true vision to life! Whenever we hit a roadblock, Jennifer always helped us find a solution!
