What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
My favorite detail had to be the groom’s cake. The cake was dedicated to the couple’s two pups, and there were two figurines that looked exactly like their dogs. They even made the cake look as if the pup were digging in and taking a bite for themselves!! SO CUTE!
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
One of the sweetest parts of the day were the toasts. Both Ashley’s dad and AJ’s dad gave heartfelt beautiful speeches that honored the couple both separately and together. There were lots of laughs and happy tears, and everyone loved getting to celebrate and raise a toast to Ashley and AJ.
Were there special details with symbolic importance?
Ashley’s veil held a lot of importance to her. It was the same veil that her mother wore on her own wedding day. It was beautiful to watch her mom place her veil on her daughter and help her get ready to walk down the aisle. The veil just showed the strong bond that Ashley and her mother share!
