What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
You know I love a good sentimental detail, and there were meaningful details everywhere at Emily and Mathew’s tented backyard wedding – but my favorite was Emily’s pearl necklace. The two-strand pearl choker belonged to Emily’s grandmother – but even better, Emily’s grandmother wore that very necklace on her very first date with the man who would become the bride’s grandfather!
What made the band or DJ exceptional?
The band, To the 9’s, kept this wedding reception rocking all night long. They didn’t play any “filler” songs – they went from one crowd favorite to another (when “Friends in Low Places is the third song of the night, you know you’re in for a party!).
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Florida is humid. Like, all the time – but not on Emily and Mathew’s wedding day! It was seriously the most perfect day. It was warm, breezy, clear, and dry. This stunning clear top tented backyard wedding had a stunning sunset framing the view looking out toward the Gulf of Mexico. The reception took place in the backyard of Emily’s parents’ incredible waterfront home in Gulf Breeze, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.
