Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Sarah and Kevin had the most perfect spring weather for their early March wedding at 5eleven Palafox in downtown Pensacola. Early spring on the Gulf Coast is absolutely gorgeous with low humidity, abundant sunshine, and balmy temperatures. It is the perfect time of year for a wedding and we couldn’t have asked for better for this sweet couple!
Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
Sarah is such a classic beauty and I love that her aesthetic choices reflected that classic style! I loved her choice of floor length black bridesmaid dresses and classic black tuxedos, fluffy white florals with the tiniest pops of soft pink, and gold accents sprinkled throughout her design choices. Understated black and white elegance never goes out of style!!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Sarah and Kevin selected the most beautiful Ketubah for their wedding! The history behind the Ketubah is fascinating and I always enjoy witnessing religious, and cultural traditions that are different from my own. The design of theirs was modern in nature, with gold accents and a clean natural wood frame – truly one of the prettiest I have ever seen and I loved that they displayed it at the reception for all of their guests to see!
