What made the wedding venue special?
Stephanie and John chose to host every part of their wedding at the beautiful Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. Stephanie’s father is the senior pastor there, and he actually introduced Stephanie to John – when John, also a pastor, began working with him at the church! The couple opened their wedding to the entire congregation, and you could see how special this union is to the church community.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
It was PERFECT. Blue skies and plenty of sunshine were the gorgeous backdrop for Stephanie and John’s indoor/outdoor reception. While the adults mingled and hugged, the children played yard games on the lawn – it was out of a storybook.
Were there any children involved in the ceremony or reception that were memorable?
Yes! Stephanie’s two daughters are precious and were involved in every part of the day. Some of my favorite photos are of the girls helping their mom put on her wedding gown! There were seven children in the wedding party, and they brought such energy and optimism to the day (in addition to being obviously adorable).
