Engagement sessions are just so lovely for a number of reasons. For one, it gives me a nice little hour or so to bond with my clients, have some laughs, hear some funny stories (hopefully the good stuff) but it also gives them an opportunity to get comfortable in front of the lens. I met Yhana and Matt at our cute downtown studio where we planned to have their session and when Yhana arrived and walked up those steps, my mouth dropped; I think the first thing I said to her was “Girl, YES”! She came in the cutest striped jumper; not only was her first outfit bomb but the other two were just as amazing! Now Yhana not only made sure she was dressed for the occasion, but made sure her soon to be husband was dressed to impressed as well. A sharp suit, clean shoes, a black floppy hat, knee high boots… can we say winning?! I think so. The two of them not only looked fabulous but were so easy to photograph. The love between them showed, the cuddles were not lacking, and they both have those piercing eyes. Just gives you all the feels! I think it is important to say though, that yes cute outfits and all that jazz is so awesome during photo sessions, but the most important thing of all is how the two vibe and these two had them all. It all just made me wish their wedding day was closer… it was such a beautiful session. I can’t wait to see this two say “I do”.
