What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Delaney and Chase are LOVELY humans, and they were both authentic, present, and kind. They were so happy to be marrying one another, but even more, I was struck by their obvious gratitude. Their wedding was absolutely stunning, and full of personal details and gorgeous surprises at every turn. My favorite moment of the day was when the bride and groom entered their empty ballroom, just before the guests were invited in. This ballroom reveal brought them both instantly to tears, and they so obviously radiated gratitude and thankfulness for the incredible blessings of the day. It was a wedding moment I will always remember. It was the perfect moment in this luxurious Destin wedding!
What made the reception enjoyable?
The band, Big Night Dynamite, was incredible! I always love watching them, but they outdid themselves at this formal Henderson wedding! They were so in touch with the crowd, and seemed to know the perfect next song to keep the guests cheering.
Were there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
Delaney and Chase decided to skip gifts, but of course the bride snuck a little secret something over to the groom on the wedding morning. He opened a small box and was brought instantly to tears. When we swiveled behind him and peeked over his shoulder, we saw what was inside the little box – three personalized dog tags for Delaney’s pets, but with their new last name. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and speaks volumes to how intentional this couple was with all things wedding related.
