What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
I loved seeing Zora’s heirloom jewelry! Everything she wore was meaningful, and my very favorite were the gold coins she wore around her neck. These gold coins are a Bulgarian tradition and are given to the bride on her wedding day, though the coins are very old. I love that their Perdido Beach resort wedding was beachy but also traditional!
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Zora and Russ were just so stinking excited to get married! During the ceremony, Zora kept looking at Russ and mouthing “I love you,” and she even snuck a kiss before the ceremony was over. The bride and groom were obviously so comfortable and confident with each other, and it was absolutely beautiful.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
It was PERFECT. October is the prettiest month here (seriously – that’s the when the locals head to the beach!), and Zora and Russ had the most beautiful day for their Perdido Beach Resort wedding. It was clear, breezy, sunny, and dry. This was perfect for their beach wedding and beachfront al fresco reception!
Was there an exceptional vendor?
Abby from the Perdido Beach Resort was wonderful. She kept everything on schedule, was kind and funny, and really helped make sure that this beach wedding went off without a hitch!
