Tell me about the couple’s choice of color palette.
For their downtown Pensacola wedding at 5eleven Palafox, Samantha and Sam selected a gorgeous palette of varying shades of purple including bold fuschia, vibrant amethyst, and soft lilac with soft eucalyptus and white accents. It was a perfect choice for their early summer wedding and I loved how beautifully the design came together!
What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
In keeping with the purple theme, Samantha chose comfort (though not at the expense of style!) and wore FABULOUS lavender sneakers under her Stella York gown. Don’t get me wrong, I love a gorgeous pair of sparkly wedding heels, but they can be pretty uncomfortable after a couple of hours and I loved that she did what felt good to her! Plus, as a sneaker kind of girl through and through, I was obsessed with her fun pair!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Samantha is such a classic beauty and I adored her understated, elegant bridal style. I was completely blown away though, by her STUNNING pearl encrusted cathedral length veil! It was so heavy, but absolutely worth every single bobby pin to keep it in place and I am obsessed with her bridal portraits that show it off!
