What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Mostly excitement! Amy and Matt were just so happy to marry each other, and you could tell that everything else was secondary. In many ways, they planned a traditional wedding, complete with first dances, cake cutting, etc – but they made sure that all of their decisions put their family and friends first. They opted for a first look in order to take as many photos as possible prior to the ceremony, so they were able to spend cocktail hour visiting with their guests – all of whom traveled to Florida to celebrate this couple! Amy and Matt’s spring garden wedding was accented by the most beautiful weather – all sunshine and breeze.
Why was the stationery suite so exceptional?
Stationary suites are my very favorite wedding detail, and I adored Amy and Matt’s modern letterpress invites! The layout and font are incredibly modern, but the classic cream paper and beautiful letterpress make this invitation the perfect blend of traditional and chic. The forest green and watercolor accents perfected this invitation suite, which was a classy complement for their spring garden wedding.
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Late-night snacks are such a fun wedding detail, and I love seeing what creative (and often casual) food is set out during the final hour of the party. Amy and Matt chose tacos and beignets, and I (and all of the guests) were there for it! What a fun way to represent their favorite foods at their formal wedding, and WaterColor didn’t disappoint with these delicious treats.
