What made the wedding venue special?
Allie grew up on the water in Pensacola, Florida, and this sweet couple decided to plan a classic and beautiful southern backyard wedding! The bride’s parents have a stunning home overlooking the Sound, and they transformed both their front and backyards into a wedding wonderland. The infinity pool was covered and served as the dance floor (so cool!), and the guests partied under a clear-top tent that let every last color of the incredible sunset shine on the first dances. It was truly incredible.
What made the band exceptional?
4 Barrel Funk kept the dance floor packed all night long. They were fabulous, and played awesome songs that everyone knew – and guests of every age danced their hearts out.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
You know the first spring day? The one that is absolutely perfect? The day with the robin’s egg blue sky, a soft breeze to keep the bugs and sweat away, and golden sun shining all day? Well, that is the day that Allie and Jack got for their wedding! It was really incredible, and perfect since everything was outdoors. Their guests were comfortable and could really enjoy the view, just as the couple had hoped.
What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Allie and Jack are two of the loveliest people I’ve had the pleasure to photograph. They were so kind and thoughtful to everyone throughout the day. More than anything else, they were so obviously grateful – for the day, their parents, and each other. It was a blessing to see such positive energy and I am so glad this sweet couple had the perfect weekend of their dreams!
