Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Oh my stars, did it ever! The weather couldn’t have been more gorgeous for Mazie and Charlie’s Point Clear wedding overlooking the bay at the ever stunning Grand Hotel Resort & Spa. It was that idyllic early spring day we dream of in the south, with temperatures in the mid-seventies, no humidity to speak of, and a gentle breeze off the water as the sun set. Truly, it was the kind of afternoon that begs for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour – just perfect!!
What made the wedding venue special?
I simply adore weddings at the Grand Hotel Resort & Spa in Point Clear so I was super excited when I found out it would be the venue for Mazie and Charlie’s big day! Their team runs the property and events with impeccable southern hospitality, the onsite catering is delicious, and the grounds are absolutely stunning no matter which direction you look!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Can we please talk about the GORGEOUS explosion of color in Mazie’s bridal bouquet?! Southern Posies outdid themselves with absolutely stunning floral designs that evoked the feelings of joy that early spring brings! I typically prefer a softer palette, but this bouquet might have made me change my mind!
