What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
Haley was calm but at the same time ready to see her future husband. Chantz was anxious in every way but excited for the first look with his bride. When she tapped his shoulder and he turned around there was nothing but love in his eyes. He even got a little teary-eyed but then their hug gave us all of their emotions.
Were there special details with symbolic importance?
I have seen many unique gifts shared between parents and between our couples. Haley’s gift to Chantz will forever be one I cherish. Unfortunately, one of Chantz’s nephews named Baxter passed away due to childhood cancer. Haley wanted him to be honored on their wedding day and to gift Chantz something to carry with him of Baxters. Haley reached out to Baxter’s mom to see if she had something special of his. Haley was so happy when she found a picture Baxter drew of himself and his Uncle Chantz. Haley took that precious drawing and had it embroidered on a handkerchief for her groom. I cannot describe how emotional that moment was.
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
Haley and Chantz are incredible people. They care about each other, their families, and their friends so deeply. Haley and Chantz wanted to honor their grandparents and chose to have the band play a special song for the two of them. There was not a dry eye in the room. Their grandparents were overjoyed at the sweet sentiment given to them by the newlyweds.
