What made the wedding venue special?
Emma’s Bay House is a beautiful small venue right in downtown Fairhope. It is perched on the bluffs overlooking Mobile Bay, and it’s full of beautifully lush greenery and plants everywhere you look. Both the bride and the groom had wonderfully comfortable getting ready suites, and we definitely took advantage of being directly next door to the park. It made this bayfront Fairhope wedding perfect!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Chelsea and Ryan’s custom cake topper was definitely my favorite detail from their day! The cake topper featured beautifully realistic portraits of each of their three dogs, and I loved it. It was cute, personal, but still classy and fit in perfectly with the aesthetic of their beautiful outdoor wedding overlooking Mobile Bay. They included a number of other dog-themed wedding items throughout their beautiful reception, from the koozies to the favors!
What was unique about the bridal party’s attire?
Chelsea and Ryan planned a wedding that was all black and white, with lots of greenery. They complemented this with the choice of bridesmaids dresses. Chelsea asked her ladies to wear long black gowns of their choosing. They all looked very much like themselves, and we’re obviously comfortable in their choice of clothing. I love that the bride allowed her bridesmaids to choose their own gown!
