Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
Zeina and Adel’s engagement party was SO FUN! I had such a great time, but my favorite part of the evening was when Khali, their DJ, pulled out a drum during their reception. Having a drummer is a tradition in the Lebanese and Arabic cultures. When Zeina and Adel’s guest saw the drum everyone started cheering and the energy was incredible!
Did the weather cooperate?
OMG YES! It was such a beautiful day in Pensacola. When you see the weather report and it has no chance of rain – you know it’s going to be a good day! Thanks to that gorgeous weather, we were able to do two fabulous couples portrait sessions. Zeina and Adel were just so natural and happy, which made for some lovely photos! And don’t even get me started on Zeina’s dresses… STUNNING!
What made the band or DJ exceptional?
This was one of my first Lebanese events and…I have to say it again – I HAD SO MUCH FUN! It was so neat being a part of an event that is from a different culture. Their DJ had everyone on the dance floor. I didn’t even know any of the songs but I was still grooving to the music and snapping away. It was such a great evening, with so much love and happiness all around.
