Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
The weather this year has been nothing short of exciting and has definitely keep everyone on their toes, when it comes to outdoor activities. Weddings are one of the most important events in a person’s life, so normally rain is not what my couples hope for. Lauren and Jackson, despite the temperamental weather, still smiled and were truly thankful to be coming together as one. During their portraits, they laughed and held each other close and I could tell that was all that mattered to them.
Were there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
Oh my goodness, yes! Lauren picked out the sharpest set of cufflinks for Jackson! She told me he loves playing a good game of tennis so she was thrilled to be giving him the neatest little tennis racket cufflinks before they saw each other at their first look. I am a sucker for a great set of cufflinks and Lauren sure knows how to pick out an extraordinary set!
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
I don’t think fireworks will ever get old! The sound of fireworks exploding with an array of colors reminds me of love and joy… the perfect ending to an incredible celebration. They just melted into one another while looking up at the sky, and I couldn’t help but smile at their love. Lauren and Jackson are definitely two people who can’t live without each other.
