What made the wedding venue special?
I simply adore weddings at Mobile’s Bragg Mitchell mansion and am positively giddy every time an inquiry for a new wedding at this gorgeous venue lands in our inbox! With its stately columns and wide wrap-around porches, majestic old oaks, and expansive lush lawn, weddings at the Bragg are always effortlessly elegant and oh-so-gorgeous. Ashley and Drew’s big day was no exception! From perfect wedding party portraits before the ceremony to the reception under cafe lights strung among the oaks, every moment of their day was stunning and a joy to photograph!
Did the couple incorporate any pets in the wedding?
Oh my goodness, YES!! Ashley and Drew love their sweet pup Cooper, and made sure to make time for portraits of their little family of three on their wedding day! He arrived on time, ready to don his Sunday best and posed for his portrait with the most perfect, tongue-out puppy smile I have ever seen!
What made the reception enjoyable?
After a two year engagement followed by a one year postponement of their wedding day due to Covid, they were ready to CELEBRATE!! The Tip Tops kept the energy up and their dance floor packed all night long, even giving into the guest’s chanting for ONE MORE SONG at the end of the night. My favorite part however, was seeing Drew who I had come to know as somewhat reserved, bust completely out of his shell and have an absolute blast on the dance floor!! Watching my sweet couples have the time of their lives at their receptions is one of the most fun things about being a wedding photographer!
