What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
EVERYTHING about Maddie and Jahaan’s special day was seriously perfect, but one of my favorite moments was capturing Maddie walking down the aisle. I’m getting goosebumps just writing about it. One thing you need to know about Maddie is that she is a Twilight fanatic. So it was only fitting that her processional song was the same one that Bella walked down the aisle to in Twilight. The moment Jahaan saw Maddie will be one that I will never forget. His eyes lit up and the tears of joy started flowing. It was truly a magical moment. I’m so happy Maddie found her Edward Cullen! 😉
What was the couple’s session like?
JUST MAGICAL and FUN! They could not stop smiling at each other. There would be moments where Jahaan would just stop and say out loud to Maddie, “You are so beautiful”! Can I insert a crying face emoji right here please?! Their connection just feels magnetic, and I’m so honored I was there to witness and capture all their love.
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
I would say so! It may have not been a tradition then, but I bet it will be going forward! Maddie’s mom surprised her with a performance from her favorite movie “Mamma Mia”. Maddie’s mom and her friends dressed like ABBA and gave an incredible performance of the song “Super Trouper”. And the best part is that Maddie’s mom is actually named Donna, just like the lead character from the movie! Donna and her Dynamos killed it!
