What emotions were apparent on the wedding day?
I can’t say enough how many good vibes were happening on this beautiful day. Everyone got dressed together in the same house, which was insanely stunning with a waterfront view in Mary Esther, Florida. No one was upset, worried, or stressed. Everyone was just so grateful to be with them both. Honestly, Nykki and Austin had me in tears most of the day. The love these two have for one another is so pure and honest. When I say they are soul mates, I truly mean it. From start to finish, there were happy tears all along the way. So many good vibes – I was honored to have witnessed it.
What was the couple’s session like?
It was amazingly stunning with the prettiest light pouring all around them. I really didn’t want to stop photographing the them, but I ran out of light – HA! We were scheduled to go to the beach to photograph all of the wedding party and end with their couples portraits, but they were so laid back they decided to stay at the party and take them there. I personally think it was a wonderful choice, and it produced amazing results. The water was gorgeous behind them, and the way they looked at one another the entire time was a dream.
Was the exit exciting and unique?
Boy oh boy can I just say the end of this wedding was rocking! Nykki’s godparents absolutely adore Nykki and love Austin to death, wanting to make them happy on their big day was everything they wanted. So why not add fireworks to the end of the big hoorah?? That is EXACTLY what they did for our beautiful couple. I snuck them over to the waters edge “pretended” to set them up for just one more night shot and BOOM there they were! The surprise got them and tears, kisses, all of the above happened and Nykki was over the moon. Austin picked up his bride (without me asking I might add) and twirled her under the moon with the biggest smile. What a way to end the evening.
