What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Caroline worked with Supposey, one of my FAVORITE Pensacola wedding planners and designers, for her gorgeous late-May Pensacola Country Club wedding!! Every element of her design, from the bridal bouquet in shades of white and ivory full of the fluffiest peonies I’ve ever seen, to the black and white checkerboard dance floor, to the cake table dressed in delicate linens and antique silver was absolute perfection. It was classic Southern elegance at its finest and completely stunning!!
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
Planning an outdoor wedding along the Gulf Coast in late spring and into summer can be a bit of a gamble in the weather department, and in Caroline and Carter’s case, one that paid off big time! It was warm, but not sweltering, a gentle breeze blew up the hill off the bay during their ceremony, and we had the most beautiful soft golden light at every turn throughout the day. It was the kind of afternoon that wedding dreams are made of!!
Was there unique transportation?
At the end of the evening, waiting for them at the end of a magical sparkler tunnel exit, was the sweetest little vintage convertible Karmen Ghia ready to whisk them away! I adore the final photo of their wedding day of their sweet kiss over the back of the car with “Just Married” written just below them!!
