What was the couple’s session like?
Magical, FUN, romantic, intimate and adventurous. Emmy and Joe’s wedding would make ANYONE want to elope to Las Vegas! These two did it right. They wanted to have all of the Las Vegas vibes incorporated into their photos. It was so much fun capturing them at the famous Neon Museum, The Little White Chapel, In and Out Burger, and the beautiful Red Rock Canyon of Las Vegas. Of course we had to end their session with a very-Vegas champagne pop!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Like most of our COVID-19 couples, Emmy and Joe had to postpone their wedding not only once but twice. With so much uncertainty surrounding COVID, they decided a month before their wedding date they were going to elope to Las Vegas. You best believe I had my bag ready to go when they told me their new plans. After two years of planning and changes, Emmy and Joe were ready to get married. When we all arrived at the Neon Museum, Joe instantly had those nerves kick in – but the good kind. The ones where you know you’re going to cry when you see the love of your life in her white dress. As soon as Emmy walked up to him and tapped his shoulder – Joe lost it. He could not hold it together. It was truly a special and intimate moment. A moment they have been waiting for for two long years.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
One of the great things about photographing in the desert is that you don’t really have to worry about rain! The weather in Las Vegas was perfect! We had sun and a nice breeze, which made the perfect veil shots. They are just breathtaking!
