What made the wedding venue special?
The Atlanta Country Club is a stunning venue, and was the perfect backdrop for Lauren and Ryan’s Marietta wedding. Situated on rolling hills, the club is surrounded by lush flowers, blossoming trees, and peaceful ponds and lagoons. Their guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour on the back patio, overlooking the golf course as the sun set. Once the party started, the bride and groom had a blast dancing the evening away with their friends and family inside the club, in a beautiful and spacious ballroom. The staff was attentive and kind and everyone had a wonderful time.
Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
It was the PERFECT spring day in Atlanta! The sun was golden and gorgeous. The flowers were perfectly in bloom. There was a gentle breeze and fluffy white clouds – I’m telling you, it was the ideal weather and I am so glad that this couple got to enjoy it on their wedding day!
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
Lauren and Ryan chose to do a First Look, where they shared a private moment prior to the wedding ceremony. It was absolutely adorable. Lauren playfully covered Ryan’s eyes, and his reaction when he finally did get to see his beautiful bride was heartwarming.
Was there unique transportation?
Yes! Ryan’s father was no longer with them, but they honored his memory by using his classic Camaro for their getaway! It was such a joyful and meaningful way to incorporate his dad into their day, and I loved photographing it.
