Did the weather cooperate on the wedding day?
I have to say- this wedding was exceptionally gorgeous!!! Pensacola Beach is one of the top beaches in the U.S. and I LOVE it when our clients choose to tie the knot on it’s sandy white shores! The entire day the sky and clouds looked unreal and I was so excited for how beautiful looked on their wedding day.
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Kelsey included a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding dress to wrap around her magnificent bridal bouquet. Her sister-in-law tied it onto her bouquet – it symbolized such a beautiful union of how families can come together throughout generations.
What was special about the first time the bride and groom saw each other?
If I could find the words to express the emotions that led up to their first look I would have your eyes watering. The first look was so important to them and I wanted it to be special for them. I decided the perfect place would be on the beach near the water’s edge. As I was leading Travis to the spot where he would eventually turn around and see the love of his life… emotions were running high. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and the biggest smile came over his face when I told him she was coming. When he felt the tap on his shoulder and turned around they both broke down. They embraced each other, read the letters they wanted to share with just the two of them and in that moment it seemed as if no one else existed but them.
