What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
Leah looked like royalty in her STUNNING Casablanca Bridal gown and cathedral length veil!! The very best part though? Her veil had a blusher attached!! I adore an ethereal veil with a blusher, but they have fallen a bit out of fashion and I don’t see them very often. It is a shame because they really do make for the most romantic bridal portraits and Leah’s are absolutely gorgeous!
Were there any unique traditions that made the reception or ceremony memorable?
Leah chose to do a dance, not only with her father, but with her three older brothers as well! It was such a sweet moment watching each brother twirl her around the dance floor, and maybe shed a few happy tears also. I loved seeing how close she was to each of them and thought it was such a unique way to honor their relationships!
What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Ryan’s family is from New Orleans and they incorporated a number of traditions, and details in a nod to his families heritage! They included an AMAZING groom’s cake decorated to look like a crawfish boil, cake pulls for the bridal party, and white handkerchiefs for their guests to wave in the air for a sort of second line grand entrance for the wedding party into the reception!! I loved how fun and personal their details were!!
