What was unique about the bride and groom’s attire?
Toni and Mafi BOTH have impeccable style, and looked like they stepped right off the runway into their wedding day!! Toni’s incredible gown is hands-down, one of my all time favorites! With a high neck, open back, bell sleeves and center slit it was dramatic, elegant, and incredibly fashion-forward. Paired with fabulous Jimmy Choo stiletto sandals and heirloom earrings, she was absolutely gorgeous!! Not to be completely outdone by his gorgeous bride though, Mafi came prepared with not one but TWO custom tuxedos, and velvet Christian Louboutin loafers with crystal embellished toe caps. They were truly stunning together!
What made the reception enjoyable?
Like so many of our 2020 couples, Toni and Mafi had to make last minute changes to their wedding plans. When the destination wedding in Barbados they had originally planned had to be postponed, wanting simply to be married and celebrate with those closest to them they planned an intimate wedding in Pensacola. Their elaborate reception turned into an amazing private dinner with their nearest and dearest at Jackson’s Steakhouse, and I loved how much more time they were able to spend with their friends, and family.
What was the couple’s session like?
In a word, perfection! We often find ourselves with limited time for a couple’s portraits on a traditional wedding day because so many couples don’t want to leave their guests waiting too long and are ready to get to the big party. Because Toni and Mafi planned an intimate event, but still opted for a full collection we were able to schedule their portraits at the ideal time and they were able to simply relax, and enjoy each other instead of worrying over their reception timeline! The result is an amazing set of portraits of just the two of them that they absolutely love!
