Kristin and Jason live in New Orleans, but are planning a fun and laidback Pensacola Beach wedding at Margaritaville – so when they decided to spend the weekend here for a planning trip/vacation, it was the perfect opportunity to squeeze in an engagement session! About an hour before we were scheduled to start, the sky fell down – lightning, wind, black clouds – we had the works!! Kristin contacted me right away, but not in a panic. Instead, she said that no matter what, they still wanted to move forward, have a great time, and didn’t care a lick if they got soaked. I’m always game for a good story (and I love making gorgeous images in unexpected situations!), so we moved forward anyway. Sure enough, as we were walking to the beach, the sky cleared and we had the prettiest, golden light. It was breezy, not too hot, and we laughed our way through this beautiful beach engagement session.
