What was your favorite detail from the wedding day?
Oh, Carson’s wedding shoes by Jimmy Choo were my favorites EVER! They were crusted in pearls, and had the most beautiful shape to them. Absolutely incredible, and the perfect peek of glam under Carson’s classic gown.
What made the wedding venue special?
The bride and her family have vacationed in Seaside, Florida for her entire life, so the village holds a special place and lots of wonderful memories. During his wonderful father of the bride toast, Carson’s dad told a story about when Carson was 10-years-old or so, she would sit in front of the chapel and watch couples exit from their wedding. She announced that when she got married, it would be in the Seaside Chapel, and sure enough, it was!
What made the band exceptional?
Big Bling and the Funk Machine is an incredible band out of Atlanta, Georgia. They played a straight set, the entire reception through, so there was never a single lag in high-energy entertainment and the dance floor was packed until the very last second of the very last song.
Were there any special gifts shared between the bride and groom?
TK surprised Carson with a custom watercolor painting titled “Our Story.” It featured a number of different vignettes, each representing a place or thing that is special to them and part of their journey. It was such a thoughtful wedding gift and I know Carson loved it!
Did the couple incorporate any pets in the wedding?
Their sweet pup, Piper, was a prominent member of the household and I loved taking her photo (and sneaking belly rubs whenever I could). Obviously, she is adored by the bride and groom, as she made it into the custom painting TK gave to Carson.
